We are recruiting: Machining operator, setter/programmer (milling or turning) (M/F)

Working conditions

Your tasks:

  • Set the 3- to 5-axis MAZAK machines and the machining parameters, assemble the cutting tools in accordance with the ranges and production orders.
  • Carry out machining operations from defined programmes.
  • Visually and dimensionally check parts according to procedures and using manual inspection tools (calliper, gauge, micrometer), and adjust settings if necessary.
  • Detect anomalies and malfunctions during production.
  • Carrying out first-level servicing and maintenance on machines, equipment and tools.
  • Completing quality support and production monitoring documents.
  • Passing on instructions when changing teams

Desired profile

Profile required:

To be successful in this position, you must have at least a BEP, CAP or BAC Pro in mechanics or industrial production, or be in the process of training to apply for a traineeship or an alternative.

For setter/programmer positions, you must have at least 2 years' significant experience as a machinist on numerically-controlled machines.

You have a good knowledge of machining techniques, as well as reading drawings and checking fixtures.

Your rigour, team spirit and commitment will be major assets in meeting the requirements of this position.
